Buying a home is an exciting time. A home purchase is generally the largest dollar purchase most people make. Your purchase and sales contract gives you the opportunity to investigate the property you are purchasing. Part of your property investigation should include a home inspection. A home inspection will provide a wealth of information about the property you are purchasing.
Marion Hodges Home Inspection Services will provide you an unbiased evaluation of the home. Defects and informational items will be brought to your attention. All inspections will include high resolution digital images.
Marion Hodges is an ASHI certified inspector (American Society of Home Inspectors) and has inspected over 5500 homes since 2006. He has over 20 years experience as a general contractor building residential homes. He had the honor of being a featured home inspector on HGTV's My First Place.
All inspections follow the guidelines of the ASHI Standards and Practice. ASHI certification is the most stringent in the industry. Certified ASHI inspectors are required to pass the National Home Inspectors exam, conduct all inspections using ASHI Standards and Practice, and obtain a minimum of 20 hours of continuing education per year. Your inspection report will provided to you and your agent on the same day as the inspection. If possible your inspection will be sent to you from the property. Most inspection periods are short term and you can't afford to loose valuable time waiting several days for your report. You are encouraged to attend all or part of the inspection. In the event you are unable to attend the inspection, your report will be so detailed and easy to read that you will think you were at the inspection.
